The Commons at Thong Lor

The Commons at Thong Lor is a very beautiful open-air community mall and a place I would strongly recommend if you have not been here before. The wifi is quite fast at 215.16 Mbps down and 150.55 Mbps up, and it is open access with no password, which makes settling in easy. Seating is fine with cafe chairs and stable tables, and while power outlets are not at every table, they are spread out enough to find when needed. Because this is an outdoor venue, there is no AC, but the fans do a fine job moving air around even in hot weather. There are many food and drink options starting at THB 100, including Roots if you want coffee, and the place is a short ride from BTS Thong Lo. It opens at 8:00 AM and closes at 1:00 AM daily, with some background music and conversation that stay manageable enough to lock in. If you need to take calls, go all the way upstairs with a decent microphone and headphones.
