Playroom Work & Drink is a cosy, small local co-working place in Punnawithi that feels as local as it gets. The wifi is wicked fast at 201.0 Mbps down and 164.0 Mbps up, and coffee is cheap at THB 70 for a decent iced latte. Seating is quite good, with chairs that can comfortably handle a full-day session, and power outlets are available even if they are not at every long-session table. The AC is great without being too cold, and the cafe sits right next to BTS Punnawithi on the Sukhumvit line. It opens from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and although it becomes a bar at night, the inside does not really change much. There is very minor background music and not much chatter, so it is easy to lock in, and the upstairs area is suitable for calls if you bring a decent microphone and headphones.
